Caol Ila 12 Year Old is a medium-weight dram with plenty of robust phenols. It's a refined, powerful dram with a balancing oiliness. A well-balanced peaty beauty. Pale straw in colour, this Islay malt is softer and more subtle than others. Smooth - malty fruitiness, a hint of burned toast.
